Remove Windows Vista On Dual Boot PC


If u install windows vista after installing windows xp your boot prossecc will be some how different. What if u want to remove your vista and continue with xp. Dual-booting with vista can be a little tricky to remove because of the new bootloader.

Here's the basic steps you need to do:

1. Reboot and Boot to your XP CD-ROM
2. Start the Recovery Console by pressing 'R' when u were prompted
3. Choose your Windows XP and type the administrator's Password
4. Run Fixboot
5. Run fixmbr to reset the master boot record
6. Exit the Recovery Console by typeing exit and the pc will be rebooted
7. Format Your Vista Partition
